Do I need to take drugs
for arthritis?
The most common form of arthritis, osteoarthritis, can be treeated
with Chinese herbs alone. Some aggressive and severe forms of
arthritis may require strong drug treatment which can be combined
with Chinese herbal treatment to enhance the effects and support the
underlying condition of the body.
What is osteoarthritis and
how is it treat with Chinese herbs?
When there is a
gradual loss of the protective and lubricating cartilage
that allows for smooth movement the bones start to rub together
causing pain and inflammation, this is osteoarthritis. The
Chinese herb treatment is
aimed at rebuilding the connective tissue and supporting

What about cortisone injections?
Cortisone can in some cases reduce pain and inflammation but it does
not strengthen the cartilage and bone, in fact, cortisone weakens
the cartilage further and removes essential minerals from the bone.
