We treat the following ENT conditions with Chinese
herbs:

- sore throat
- colds and flu
- chronic ear infections
- sinusitis
- hay fever
- tinnitis
- and more -
TonsillitisThe tonsils are part of a group of lymphoid
tissue that collect bacteria and viruses that cause upper
respiratory tract (nose and throat) infections. Chinese herbs can
help boost the body's ability to produce proteins (immunoglobulins)
that help the body fight infections. Chinese herbs that have
antiviral, antibacterial and immune boosting effects are the herbs
of choice for chronic tonsillitis.
SinusitisSinus infections sometimes occurs after you’ve had a cold
when the cold isn't treated early enough with Chinese herbs. The cold virus attacks the lining of your sinuses, causing them to
swell and become narrow. Your body responds to the virus by
producing more mucus, but it gets blocked in your swollen sinuses.
This built-up mucus makes a good place for bacteria to grow. The
bacteria can cause a sinus infection. Herbs that
can thin out the mucus and encourage drainage, as well herbs that
have antiviral and antibacterial effects are used to treat
sinusitis.
Ear InfectionsThe middle ear is a small
pocket of air behind the eardrum. When
germs get into the middle ear and the area fills up with fluid (pus)the
pain can be excruciating. Antibiotics and even drainage to relieve
pressure may be necessary. Chinese herbal formulas that have
anti-microbial effects as well boost immune function can be used in
conjunction with medical treatment to help avoid chronic problems.
